Join us for the 2023 Sawmill Creek Cleanup on April 29

In collaboration with Better South Keys Centre, City Stream Watch will be conducting a cleanup in Sawmill Creek at the South Keys Shopping Centre. Participants will help to clean up garbage in the stream and shorelines surrounding Sawmill Creek. We will meet near the RBC at 9 a.m.

When: Come for any length of time between 9 am and noon.

Parking: Park between Kelsey’s and the RBC at South Keys Shopping Centre

Meeting location: We will be meeting at the parking lot across from Walmart, adjacent to the Royal Bank. Click here to see the location on Google Maps

What to wear: Dress for the weather! Wear waterproof boots, long pants and a hat

What to bring: Feel free to bring your own gloves if you have a favourite, but City Stream Watch will provide them; please bring your own water bottle

What City Stream Watch will provide: Drinking water to replenish empty bottles, some snacks, chest waders, garbage bags and gloves
